Photographer’s Note

Well last night my good friend was able to finish fixing my PC, the hard disc was too old, this what he told me. Any way they placed a new one plus more GBs memories.
The picture was taken from the top of Anacapri's 589 meter high Monte Solaro, accessible by a chairlift. The view from the top is really beautiful, the photo shows some of the very well known cliffs that ends on the sea, located on the southern part of the island.

Hi Emile, Very well done. The blue water contrasting with the green and gray on the shoreline makes for a delightful colorful setting. The white boat lends the presence of life and you have done this very well. Great shot. Roger

Belle prise de vue et merveilleux bord de mer, à première vue je croyais que c'était à Los Cabos au Mexique. La qualité d'image est là et les rochers sont magnifiques. Le bateau est un ajout à la beauté de la photo. Tu aurais peut-être dû demander un nouvel ordinateur en cadeau pour Noël. ha! ha! ha!

Plongée offrant un spectacle magnifique sur les côtes déchiquetées où les falaises abritent des habitats de qualité. Quant à la mer d'un superbe bleu, porte sur ses flots de petits et un grand bateau ressortant à merveille.
Une très belle prise de vue, sans aucun doute.

I think you had the highest POV possible on the island. Really beautiful with the Faraglioni and the white boats in that blue sea and with all the houses in the forest high above the cliffs.

This is a breath taking view! Your composition is great placing the cliffs and mountains to one side with the sea on the other. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

Quelle vue merveilleuse qui a évoqué en moi des souvenirs de mon dernier passage sur cette ile mythique.J'avais fait un plan plus serré de cette vue (voir ici) mais je trouve que votre composition est bien meilleure.
Bravo pour le nouveau HD il ne faut pas hésiter à le changer pour éviter tout problème de perte de données.

You certainly found yourself a superb POV by taking the chair-lift. We can appreciate the scale when we notice the tiny houses on the far cliff. The colour of the sea is stunning. Glad you have got your PC sorted out.

una gran vista, y un paisaje mediterráno espectacular, que has inmortalizado desde un punto de vista perfecto.
Me gusta la gran profundidad de la imagen, y la belleza de estas formaciones rocosas en la costa.
Las casas que se ven tan pequeñitas, y los barcos sobre el azul del mar, aportan un excelente contraste en la composición.
Bella foto, y un gran recuerdo de vuestro crucero que compartes con todos nosotros.

It is very relaxing for the eye to look at this view with the cliffs and blue ocean. The pov allowed to have a good idea of this place and Inotice many houses have been built there! A good capture as well on the yacht as well on the smaller and speedy boat.

The blue mood adds atmosphere to the capture!
I like the composition with the strong foreground interest to create depth and give some scaling to the scene, the view is well frames with fine details...
This fine point of view is effective in showing the place from its best!

Hello my good friend, Emile,

Is this not a magical view. So you took the chance and rode the chairlift to the summit. We travel in the "same circles," so to speak. This is a spectacular site that I last saw in 2007, and posted as King Farouk's Last Abode. Just today I posted one from this past August The Jewel in the Crown of the Dalmatian Coast, namely Dubrovnik. These should bring back memories of 10 weeks ago.

Hola Emile, most spectacular view over the blue sea and cliffs. Very beautiful scenery with the rocks coming out of the water and wonderful sight of the houses spread on top of the cliffs and surrounded by dense greenery. Very nice inclusion of the big yatch on the right place of the composition.

Bonsoir,
belle photo de ce port avec ces bateaux alignes prêt a partir de votre précédente photo, celle ci est encore plus jolie avec ce POV de haut qui nous montre cette colline entourée d' eau.
De ce village perché au dessus, de ces bois qui la recouvre.
Ces rochers plus éloignés donne un excellent effet.

Si, sin duda, un lugar para recordar por siempre. Y porque no, si es una vista maravillosa, con una gran profundidad y amplitud. El punto de vista es excelente, el paisaje se destaca notablemente por las formaciones rocosas, y la composición bien establecida.
