Photographer’s Note

Waiting for the bus to bring me back from Zion Ntnl Park to Springdale, I took this pic at this small restaurant nearby the bus stop. So I put my camera on a bench and...clik...and then the bus came and I could back to my motel :-)

Ciao Riccardo,
io e` da 12 anni che vengo qui in campeggio, ogni volta per diversi giorni prima di procedere verso Bryce, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell ecc... Questo scatto con la silhouette del magico Watchman sullo sfondo mi riporta indietro di tre mesi, il profumo dell'aria all'imbrunire, le Budweisers gelate dopo giornate trascorse a scalare Angels Landing, Hidden Canyon, Observation Point... Zion e` l'indiscusso Santuario del West. Se uno e` disposto a sudare (con la S maiuscola) trova posti che come bellezza e atmosfera non hanno uguali al mondo. Ottimo shot, mi piace ed e` inconfondibilmente... Zion!

Amazing scene. Mysterious place. Wonderful background. Good light and shadow, very good colors. Perfect frame.

Hi Riccardo
I had eat there this summer, camp behind a night at the campground and watch the sunset colors on the mountains in background. It give me a nice souvenir.
I think you put your camera at low sensitivity to avoid noise what oftenly happened with compact.
