A Igreja de Lanhoso é um pequeno templo construído em granito cuja estrutura tem uma base românica. No decorrer da sua história sofreu numerosas reconstruções. Encontra-se junto ao Castelo de Lanhoso que é um magnifico exemplar da arquitectura medieval que foi erguido no século XII. É o principal monumento da região e situa-se no cimo do Monte do Pilar, localizado sobre o maior monolítico granítico da Península Ibérica.
