This young mother is a highschoolgirl which got dropped out because of pregnancy. She is the only one in the small Himba family/village with "western" clothing as she has been to school.

Great photo... quality of image, colours... but specially with a great story to tell. Thanks for your note and for the photo! It is amazing how natural they look, both looking up, like if there is something strange in the sky, even more strange than having someone taking their picture!

Merhaba Levend Bey, burası sanırım Kalahari Çölü. Çok güzel, sımsıcak bir fotoğraf. Genç bir anne ve hemen yanıbaşında darı yiyen tombiş bebeği...Göründüğü kadarıyla buradaki kabilelerde beslenme sorunu yok. Elinize sağlık.
