Photographer’s Note
Between the cities of Trapani and Marsala, on the western coast of Sicily, one can find the salt fields of Sicily. This mill, near Mozia, plays a role in the pumping of the salt water from one basin to the other. The mill itself is also a museum dealing with the salt production through the centuries.
