Photographer’s Note
Walking in the streets of Nevşehir, the girl on the right spotted me and we exchanged a smile ; she said something to her friends and together they were looking at me, still walking (I was behind them), but they accepted to stop at my request so that I could take a photo.
3 modern students in the not very appealing streets of that city, which is at the end of the afternoon bursting with school kids and university students, all eager to practice the little English that they have been learning.

Hi Cathrine,
A very nice shot that shows different emotions of the people in that moment. From left to right cheerful, bashful, and hopeful:))

Bonjour, Catherine.
Une photo très sympathique, comme j'aime bien, avec des passants souriants et avec une belle interactivité avec le photographe.
Amitiés, Grazyna.

There is some uneasy feeling of the total dumbness of TE !
It's the dumbness of not recognizing a good photo from mediocre one
To recognize a photo which is REALLY not an easy task to obtain, from a photo that is nothing else but a standard, pseudo art, pseudo 'deep thought' photography.
Just as today, when browsing the pages of TE…
How many is in there those constantly repetitive motives and the same 'artistic' approach to photography, while in fact - it's the result of complete lack of skills, of talent in this field, or of the imagination, or simply - lack of knowledge about the photography stuff…?
I would ask today those who managed to gather 30 or 40 or more points for a photo that is absolutely nothing more than a proof, that: YES !!! This camera works !!!
When I pressed the button - look at this !!!
I made a picture !!
Good one, eh ?
Stolen fotkas from far away… Terrible lightning… Those dead faces, frozen in the middle of… of something !
And, I like to ask them, those 'photographers' …
Go there, in the streets of the city… Any city… And bring back the photos of the real people ! I want to see that you knew what were you doing… I don't want to see one bloody technical flaw in your photo… One single flaw - that is.
I don't want to see the cut-off feet, fingers, elbows… I don't want the window frame coming out of someone's nose…
I want to see the faces that talk !
I don't want to see the backs of the people for NO apparent reason whatsoever… I don't want to see any bluish hue on the photo - whatsoever…
I don't want to see the washed out colors of some phucking magenta, or green seledine, or some purple crap !
I WANT to see interaction with them… I WANT to see that they were aware of your presence…
I want to see what kind of a person you are as well as the photographed person !
And, don't try to trick me…
Because I've been there, in the streets…
I know how it is to get a decent photo…
I've tried before to get some as well…
…………………….
Your photo…
Absolutely fantastic… A flawless production of one of a kind…
There is not a single pixel in there - being dead !
Perfectly framed, gorgeous colors, sharpness, focus…
Right moment, right timing…
One may say: What's the big deal about it ?
Just three girls on the street, right ?
Yeah, right…
Go and make the same and you'll see…

Wow! ..... speech goes that of the friend Polonaise.
Hello Catherine, I am going to be more brief, only to say that it is a type of image that also I like, especially if there is spontaneity in the scene as in this case. And also I think that there can be another type of essence and feelings in the sceneries, flowers, animals, buildings, cities .... the case is that it is transmitted by means of the photo.
I think that your apprehension assembles many qualities but I remain with the smiles of the girls.
A hug my friend.
