Photographer’s Note
This is another take on Jökulsárlón. Instead of focusing on the icebergs, I went down to the shore, where the ice has left pebbles in the sand, and years of winds have blown the sand neatly to their side, forming a small dune centered on the pebble.
The photo is sombre, and the subject a bit lonely.

Hello Johann
You have been very original in taking this sand closeup while behind you there was the extraordinary vision of Jökulsárlón. I whish you'll post picture of the glacier also.
Here the result is excellent, great detail on sand and pebbles and right depth of focus.

Hi Johann,
really nice picture. Great close up view of the stones. The blur effect behind the stones are perfect. Well done.
