An Memorial of Freedom in Kocani, Macedonia.
This is mosaic made before some 30 years ago.
On the top you see woman (The Mother of God or Bogorodica) , protector of our people.
Her face is double (one here, one from the back side) and on each face you see tear, one tear of happiness and one from sadness.

Welcome on TE! Great photo of this artwork. I like the composition against the blue sky. At first, when looking at the little thumbnail, i thought it was something by Gaudi in Barcelona, but when i opened the photo i was pleasantly surprised.
Personally i think the photo has some more power in it. I will try to express this in the workshop that i shall post in a few minutes.
