The is a young elephant showing off from a distance of about 75 feet. He had been playing with a younger one when he turned towards us. The guide said he was posturing but not really being aggressive. In any case, I was glad I had a good, long telephoto/
We were also informed that the shape of the molars, oval, is another difference between African and other elephant species.
