Photographer’s Note
This was taken from the M.V. Leimba, a First World War German warship that has been sunk and raised 3 times and now runs as a passenger and goods ferry along the length of Lake Tanganyika. The boat does not dock at most of the ports it calls at along the route, but rather these little boats come out to her and offload passangers and goods.
