Photographer’s Note

I took this photo two years ago in a special photo trip to Yedilgoller, Bolu.

The Yedigöller National Park (Turkish: Yedigöller, "seven lakes") is located in the north of the Bolu Province, Turkey.

The park is best known for the lakes formed by landslides and for the rich plant life. There are beech trees, oaks, hornbeams, alders and black pines in the area.

Of its seven lakes, one is filled only seasonally.

This is a fine autumn colors shot! The dock provides a nice focal point for the shot. The trees frame the dock nicely helping to focus our attention to it. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.
