Photographer’s Note

The Place
The sunset in front of Palm Beach Resort in Laiya beach, south Luzon, Philippines.

Background
This is my third photo after my return to TE. It is the same place of my previous photo.
I will be away again for a couple of months due to our family trip to Chile (my home country.

I hope I will bring back good photos to share. Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all of you

- Cokin ND8 graduated filter
- resize, framed (no sharpening, I did it too much the last time)

Hi Jorge,
I`m wondering why nobody wrote you so far since this is a beautiful shot! Wonderful sunset colors and the 6 sec. exposure made the water look blurry and I really like that. Technically perfect. Well chosen POV, the rocks in the foreground are important for your composition!

Hey Jorge,
each time I see a 10-20 landscape such as yours, I feel like running to my nearest lens dealer and buy this super-wide angle....and to hell with my banker! But I gotta be reasonable, arggh...TE-itis is striking harder than ever....Anyhow,
superb landscape Jorge, exposure is top-notch, effect on the water and foreground rocks as well. Congrats!

Hi Jorge,
If you hadn't said I would never have guessed this is in the Philippines! This really is an expert shot, the solid black on the rocks contrasted against the fading red sky is stunning, and your long exposure has created a silky smooth texture on the water surface. Compliments for this great shot!

How are you? How’s your daughter, now that she’s one year old now! The 6 sec exposure created a silky sheen on the water & the black rocks & the silhouetted hill slopes create a fine contrast with the red sky. Excellent landscape shot!

Your series of sunset is really very beautiful. Good use of the wide angle with a long exposure. Here I like particularly the dialogue between rocks and clouds.

Very nice Bruno. The light makes this picture. I also like the way you punctuated the image with such dark rocks. But the light and the colors are outstanding. Very nice!
