Photographer’s Note
Vlikolinec, enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage. Vlkolínec, situated in the centre of Slovakia not so far from the city of Ruzomberok, is a remarkably intact settlement of 45 buildings with the traditional features of a central European village. It is the region’s most complete group of these kinds of traditional log houses, often found in mountainous areas.
This nice village resembled me another UNESCO WH village: Holloko of Hungary (in TE you can find it here: Hungary/East/Nograd/Holloko).
You can see the surrounding mountain of Fatra mountain, the traditional wooden houses and in the foreground the well of the village.
I converted this photo to BW to emphasize the amazing lights and the different textures. I hope you like the calm silence of this sunny noon-time image.

Szia!
Ez a verőfényes napsütéses kép rengeteg emléket idézett fel bennem, kifejezetten jó hangulatfotó!
Tetszenek az árnyékok és nagyon jó a kontraszt is. Minden elismerésem!

Dear Jalab, friend,
I had just a nice walk in your gallery and could say that I like the best your pictures from Hungary. Even if I stay here in front of this romantic scene of Slovakia's village.
Your sensibility for photograph subject is with experience and you prefer the architectural details. I do the same in Belgrade, but I don't post them for moment.
So happy to know you. Have the best spring in dear Hungary.
Branko
