..its hard rain season in Jakarta right now. There are several places dumped with flood. This scene is one of them. Kids are enjoying, playing over the flood, feels ok with this phenomena while their house maybe would be sink by the water..

Selamat Pagi Lafni!

First, your title made me smile. Indonesian people are so often ready to laugh about anything, I am not entirely surprise that instead of complaining (what we would do ourselves in such a situation), they start looking at the sunny side of things. This is the stupefying surprise of the picture. I like how you captured this joyful moment, the heedlessness of the kids. I am not sure I would be able to be so carefree in this brown opaque water! the vivid colors add some more buoyancy to the picture. Well done!

It's a great picture. It is difficult to capture such fast movement but obviouslyyou made it! I can feel the emotions of the happy children in your picture.

Fantastic daily life scene, great framing and composition, excellent timing, flawless light managment and beautiful colours. I am not sure that their parents were as happy as the kids with the flood, but those little guys surely know how to have fun! Congratulations!

nice the snapshot with the children to play with in the flood areas of the city,and the people to be so frighten from the hard rains.But this game would be dangerous some moment.I like this documentary shot.Well done.

Ooh what a spectacular spot. Good catch on the kids jumping into the water. Good that you capture the road sign and the "kaki lima" cart, reminding the viewers that this is indeed... a vehicular road. Is that a bridge railing on the right?
