Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken on a hill south of Batna. The opposite mountain is Mount "M'touguer" or "Echlaâlaâ"الشلعلع". The French colonisators called it the "peak of the Cedars" refering to the reigning species in forests on its northern side "Atlas Cedars". It culminates at 2000m.It's one of the highest mountains of northern Algeria. It is part of the National Park of Belezma.
