Photographer’s Note

The Three Musketeers (Les Trois Mousquetaires) is a novel by Alexandre Dumas. It recounts the adventures of a young man named d'Artagnan after he leaves home to become a musketeer. D'Artagnan is not one of the musketeers of the title; those are his friends Athos, Porthos, and Aramis. They are inseparable friends who live by the motto, "One for all, and all for one" and stayed loyal to each other through thick and thin...

Normally i need some time to explore and view your images, but here it's obvious. Lines, elements, light, colour toning and great patterns on the floor. Your composition is flawless and the note fits well, but also a bit funny...

zamanlama acisindan baslik ve notlar harika bir uyum icinde.. yine kendine ozgu tarzini yansitmissin; renk tonlari, bakis acisi, kadrajin dengesi... ilk baktigimda merdiven yuzdesi fazla gibi geldi ama buyutunce oyle olmadigini farkettim.. Tebrikler Korkut!..

"iyi günde kötü günde"nin karşılığının "through thick and thin" olması komiğime gitti. incesi gelirse iyi gün, kalını gelirse kötü gün oluyor heralde. burda merdivendeki çizgilere bakılacak olursa olay "bir ince, bir kalın, bir ince, bir kalın..." şeklinde sonsuz bir döngüye girmiş. işleri zor...

Yuppiiii Korkut yine fotoğraf yüklemiş!!! Arşivinin tükenmiş olamayacağını biliyordum, ama yine de içim de bir huzursuzluk vardı, sabah sabah "Korkut's POV'"u pembemsi bakırımsı sepyasıyla görünce bir mutlu bir mutlu oldum... Bugünüm güzel geçer benim artık :)
Sağ köşedeki üçgene itinayla yerleştirilmiş gibi duran 3 adam (kesin onlar profesör falandır, haddimi biliiim ben) pek hoş pek cici olmuş.

Bir ara hiç Vakıftepe WS'um olmayacak sanmıştım, geç oldu ama iki tane oldu diye mutlu oldum :) Ay bu ne güzel bir sabah böyle!!!!

Tek kelimeyle muhteşem ! Sen o "ince" ve "kalın" deyimlerine takılıp hafiften dalgasını geçenlere bakma, yoluna devam et ! İlk fırsatta Haydarpaşaya geleceğim, daha kimbilir neler var. Adam gibi geometrisi olan bir kare, resmin tamamındaki dokular muhteşem. İnsanlı oluşu da kareye dinamizm kazandırmış.

Nice design here, Korkut, obviously very graphic. I like the glow off the stairs that brings out the metallic texture, in contrast to the rest of the scene. Sepia tone seems appropriate, too. It's nice how the men make a "triangle inside a triangle." Well seen! Regards, Ken.

I've noticed that you have a thing with diagonals lately. :) It is remarkable here to see how everything fits...how everything forms a pattern. Stairs, the floor, even the men...Their hands...they form a pattern from the floor...and they are in the same direction as stairs... All this elements, lines are perfectly connected in one single perfection. Trully remarkable.

hahaha, so very well seen, krkt. They really look like doing that famous gesture of the Musketeers. How the hell do you catch such delicious scenes? And also so well framed on that corner and still offering a stunning graphism and nice geometric lines. Love it, as usual...
This is an old one...I was expecting something else...not that I'm complaining, no Sir ;-)

well done framing, the POV is very special, lighting on the stairs is great, and presence of the people is a good thing, they are at the right place in the frame (BTW I'm sure Athos is the one on the right ^^)

bu arada geçen gün yolladığın workshopta fotografımı gördüm.inan bütün samimiyetimle söylüyorum benim fotografımı böyle güzel çeken hiç kimse olmadı eline gözüne sağlık.

A very metallic picture, the stairs give me a sensation of a razor, especially with this toning. Even though you refer to the Dumas' romantic classic, I have a very cold, business like feeling watching this image. It might also imply the strength of a bond...

This is a very striking image. I love the diagnonal placement of the staircase, and the way the lighting falls across it. The three men are perfectly captured, and I also find the patterns on the floor to be very elegant. Very beautiful image!

James Bond filmlerinden alınma bir sahne karşımızda... Sağdaki 3 kişi Güney Afrika'da daha yeni keşfedilen elmas madeninin kime kalacağının pazarlığını yapıyor ve yukardan biri onları gözetliyor. Diagonal metal merdivenin parlaklığını sevdim en çok, bir yandan da tehlikeliler insanlar kayıp düşebilir:)

baba filminin dvd kapağına baktım şimdi, aynı renkler.. bir de adamlar siyah giyinmişler ya, daha çok mafya hesaplaşmasını gizliden fotoğrafladınız izlenimine kapıldım

Love the tones of this sepiah, it's a photo rich with details and so well constructed, the various materials (tiles, metal stairs) don't lose their appeal without colours and the 3 guys plotting there are essential to make the photo interesting. I prefer it by far compared with the WS.

Fotoğraftaki gümüşü havayı çok beğendim, merdivenlerin diagonal yerleşimini de. Üstelik te çok enterasan bir bakış açısıyla merdivenlerin ve birimiz hepimiz, hepimiz birimiz için grubunun komposizyondaki yerleri çok etkileyici olmuş.
İlk defa bir fotoğrafında sürpriz bir gölge yok. Şaşırdım! Ama grafik etkiyle açığı kapatmışsın zaten.

Bu ana girişteki merdivenden anca özel günlerde çıkardık.. hafızam yanıltmıyorsa müdür odasına çıkılırdı oradan.. Merdivenin alt kısmındada ünlü mezunlarin ya da iftahar listesine giren öğrencilerin fotoğrafları asılırdı.. Hey gidi günler.. ellerine sağlık üstad çok özel ve de güzel bir çalışma..
