Photographer’s Note
Sinked boats during low-tide on Suriname River bed.
I learnt that the reflection shoots are working nicely for me, if I can build a POV at same or closer level to the wet surface. But this alone is not enough, one must be lucky too for permanent quality.
My first incident which happened at boating at Paranam, made Mrs. Parbo is more concerned. She tells me "please, be careful!" whenever I go out. Believe me honey, I tried.
Jump from pier to first higher boat. See the scene, immediately jump to lower one, then try to change your direction while jumping to another boat, many of them sinked on mud already, fantastic! Slide on one of them, squeeze your right foot between external engine and boat floor. Ouch! Check your foot, toenail already peeled completely. Don't stop, continue to shoot few more dozens for commercial uses.
Then I drove to hospital, emergency service was full that Saturday. After hours doctor came and asked what happened? Then he offered me a favor:
- If you want to take photo of your foot, you can do before I bandage it
- No doctor, thanks
Converted from RAW.
Many cheers you to all,
PS. Doctor banned alcohol because of medication, so I can toast only orange juice with you.

Merhaba Ertuğrul, the work of photographer is some dangerous time, particularly on place slipping like the boats, I hope that you will make calls, in the future, with a stuntman for the dangerous scenes of photography, it have a very weak draught these boats , arkadasça selamlar ..............

Hello Ertugrul:
Independent simple as making the composition established by the reflections in the water and clouds in the sky, I like it.
The alignment of the boats, plus the boat side, determine a good composition, with a good handling of light and soft tones.

Hello Ertugrul
De belles et douces couleurs pour ces étonnants bateaux comme posés au sol!!
Les reflets sur l'eau apporte une belle touche magique en y ajoutant des nuages, c'est superbe!!

Olá Ertugrul!
Another beautiful photograph! Colors, sharpness and brightness are all excellent! But the composition with those ships is the item that mostly attracts me, including their reflexion on the surface of the water!
I really like it!
TFS - Congratulations!
Warmest regards,

Merhaba Ertugrul,
Should I laugh or get worried like your wife does? Come on, we all love Photography, but maybe, just maybe it's wiser to put the health ahead, what do you think? :D
Having the boats hiding the horizon, the fabulous effect of your river photos is a bit lost here, but it is noneless a very accomplished compo, with much visual impact. I like the visual route produced by the reflections of the boat, starting on the lwoer left corner and then following the aligned boats to the right.
Parabéns e um abraço,
José

Hi Ertugrul. Very nice perspective. Great colors and reflections and good definition. Before I read your note I thought that clumsy was the guy that parked the boat on the right completly out of order ;). Me too had a problem one of these days but with bells, not with boats. I sure hope you foot is good. Take care. Paulo.
PS: "Banned alcohol"? What kind of doctor is that? How are you gonna treat your foot? ;)

Wonderful sequence of boats (my passion), wonderful reflections and colours. A remarkable composition. You are great in working with boats, and you find a lot of materials over there.
I'm sorry for your foot, many wishes for a quick healing.

Hi Ertugrul
The things we do to get that special shot. I have a coffee going now so I will toast you with that. A nice shot with good reflections. There is an implied diagonal line in the docked boats that lead the eye to the boat just leaving or coming in.

Yes, reflection on wet sand is good if low angle and with a good light. Slow speed, tripod and high f/stop.
Good capture here of the boats and the wet sand reflection. But too bad about your toe nail and foot.
