Photographer’s Note
This blurred fotka is dedicated to Dora (thea0211), she'll understand why...
The second one taken in the arched room of the squatted house of my friend Tuncay the gypsy musician, I could also have called this "ExtacieS" but I'm not quite sure in this case that they were in this state of mind although I think that their faces could show it.
... At least I was, a little bit... Seeing the extraordinary scene of a deaf man (Aydin, his rich cousin) whirling around and dancing madly with closed eyes while Tuncay was playing nostalgic music on his broken "udh"...
Very poor and bleak light, nothing to lean on but my unstable knees as I was sitting on a bed in front of them ; tilt unintended, sorry... anyway : here it is, imperfect but interesting IMHO, whether you like it or not !
It's Saturday : let's dance ! (another reason BTW that this photo is for Dora ! :)))

dear cath,
i really wish we'd meet one day. would be an honour to me!
... although this 'living in every pixel' image should be maybe dedicated to all the perfect people, living their perfect little lifes in their perfect bodies in their perfect houses in their perfect little worlds while religiously following their perfect little diets. but then again they might not understand blurred 'living in every pixel' fotkas. like we like to think we do. in our parallel worlds. even though anyone with just a slight empathic 'touch' could easily feel just by simply watching aydin and tuncay. just watching their ecstatically closed eyes. even though not even we can hear in a million years the music aydin is dancing on. his internal rhythms. it's so much more then we, with our limited earthly senses could ever hear/feel ... "sing with rapture, dance like a dervish"
no, i was not in a dancing mood. but maybe i would have danced with them (on my own internal rhythms, mind you). even though i rather choose to dance with light. and i try. and i try. and i try ;o)
... thank you!
dora
ps: you're turkish seems to be improving day by day. i'm impressed. can't be easy at all

Bonsoir Catherine,

all right, all right...
we know that a slight fraction of second too much in terms of exposure - but still this is one of the most creative things that i have encountered here for quite a some time...

Hell, if this is not one of the best Gypsies series of yours, Katarzyna...
A splendid dynamic photograph of a incomparable charm and interest..
Yeah... I've seen gypsies in the photo, but... But this one is entirely different from the others...
Chapeau bas, Cath, her highness

Cath,
This one is also superb. The feeling of movement, of lightness... the whole world spinning... and the intensity of the singer's face... wow...what a moment! And what a wonderful capture!
Bravo!
Andre
