....once again a photo of one of my favourite motifs near my home : The Sluice House with the canoes waiting to be stacked and covered until spring .
The past months have been quite nice and relatively warm here in Denmark . The colours of the falling leaves have been so beautiful and I will post a couple of leaves next time .
Herlufsholm is also one of my favourite motifs ,which you can see in the workshop .
Have a nice weekend :o)

A very pretty well composed scene. The boats in the foreground give depth to the image as we look down over the water with its very appealing reflections. Very nice light and good colours and clarity.

So your back:-) This is a lovely scenery from your 'backyard'. Beautiful autumn colours and nice reflections in the water. As I can see there are only canoes here, is the water so shallow that no other type of boats can be used here?
Have a nice weekend

Hello, Dorte -
Beautifully composed and great shadow color management. I think I would have used a slight darkening brush on the sky and trees in the center background; it's not blown out, but getting close to it. I posted a quick WS to show the idea.

Great! What a wonderful atmosphere is in this picture! The play of light and shadow, the shown scenery and the whole composition - simply gorgeous. I like this view out of the shade to sunlight here very much. I cannot spare you - in my opinion a perfect, but also a very very beautiful photo! Congratulations to this one! ;-))
Greetings from rainy Germany - and have a good week!

this looks such an amazing place. You have captured its beauty so well. It's a peaceful mood and soothing place that you catch, an expressive and harmonious moment. It's a very cosy and superb spectacle!
All the best.

A really nice view over the water with such a pleasant sunlight and lovely autumnal colours in the trees. You chose a really good POV with a nice inclusion of the small boats in the foreground.

hi Dorte. What a lovely spot. Beautifully composed image. Everywhere I look, I like what I see: the dappled light on the canoes(making the foreground lighter and more defined), the lovely blue water and the vivid reflections, the charming white house, the autumn hues- really a piece that should be painted in oil. Lovely work Dorte. Often inspiration is so close to home. Regards. Klaudio.

I must have missed this one.
But I came to see if you had uploaded a new shot for Christmas. This will do as it is a beauty, with its beautiful light and autumn colours. Autumn seems long ago suddenly, I suppose. You probably have snow on this scene now.
Anyway, I will wish you a happy Christmas and a happy passage from one year to the next. I hope to see you here on TE again soon.
Regards and best wishes,

A casual visit to your gallery revealed this lovely autumn scene from two months ago. What a bucolic and nostalgic scene as we all find ourselves immersed in the throws of winter— at least, in the northern hemisphere.
I wish you belatedly Seasons Greetings.
