Photographer’s Note
Another day draws to a close in western Donegal as night and darkness approach quietly, but a last brilliant display of sunlight on clouds fills the evening sky with color and light. This shot was taken freehand in natural light from the harbour pier.

Boats and water always win my attention. You have captured the moment of dusk with the boats and the sunset. Albeit, there is some detail lost in the darkness in the boats, I think you have done the right thing, by not attempting to lighten them as this would degrade the scene. Great Shot.
