Photographer’s Note

This gigantic sculpture of the spider named “Maman” is 30 feet in height and width created by Louise Bourgeois and located in the Guggenheim museum of Bilbao, Spain.

There are another six bronze casts located at National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Tate Modern in London, Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, Samsung Museum of Modern Art in Seoul and Havana in Cuba

surreal lights and very well colors, this is a kind to use architecture for a sophisticated photo.

At first sight I thought it was an infrared photo. Stunning flood lighting to achieve the same effect.

Hello Dimitris,

I have been collecting the pictures of Gehry's buildings here on TE and the museum has a different colour in almost every picture, but you have achieved a very unusual colours here.

A fantastic place, a fantastic sculpture, highly photogenic.
I like the way you pictured it, with strong bronze/blue/freen colors and accentuation.

Πολύ δραματικό αυτό το μεταλλικό φως. Εντυπωσιακός ο τρόπος που διαγράφεται η αράχνη και το κτίριο του μουσείου πάνω στον κόκκινο ουρανό. Μ' αρέσει και ο φωτογράφος που περιέλαβες στο κάδρο. Κάπως σαν να προτάσει το τρίποδό του ενάντια στην τεράστια αράχνη (αλλά χάνει και σε μέγεθος και σε αριθμό ποδιών!)

THE EXPOSURE IS PERFECT, AND SUBJECT IS VERY INTERESTING (AND FRIGHTENING)...LIGHTS, COLOURS AND SKY ARE FEARSOME AND AWESOME, AND THE ARCHITECTURE ARE FASCINATING...
