Gangotri is a town in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is a Hindu pilgrim town on the banks of the river Bhagirathi (Ganga). It is on the Greater Himalayan Range, at a height of 3,042 m.

Oh, dear, another spectacular Himalaya shot. (Yawn.) You people keep this up and I'm going to have to go there. ;-)

Good composition here, nice use of diagonals. The mountain is just slightly overexposed, and the trees in the foreground a little fuzzy. I did a correction in the WS. Hope you don't mind. You probably should be shooting this at a smaller f-stop; with this much light, you don't need to open the lens that much and kill your depth of field.

Hi Laetitia,
Lovely shot of the massifs( the one to the left is Shivling , if I am not wrong). Though , its a bit on the softer side, I liked the overall ambience.
