Photographer’s Note

Hello to all TE friends!

I was so impressed of the Mackinaw Bridge that connects Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island, that I wanted to post another shot of this amazing Bridge.
I was very lucky because this was one of the best sunsets I´ve ever seen so far.

beeindruckende Aufnahme dieser Brücke von einem guten Standpunkt aus.
Mie gefallen vor allem die schönen Farben und das tolle Licht der frühen Abendstunde, das du hier sehr gut festgehalten hast. Mein Kompliment.

schönes Bild der Mackinaw Bridge, ich muss sagen deine besten Bilder sind aus Mackinaw, deshalb werd ich auch keins davon posten, weil ich eh nichts besseres abliefern kann. Tolle Farben und dieser Himmel, einmalig! Tolles Bild!

Hallo Kris,
I like this, matter of fact i like these large bridges. It's a very minimalistic shot, but one with high impact because the red in the sky is following the bridge and guides us through the image. An image that i like, i would like to make this myself one day....very good work.

scönes Blue hour Bild, die Farben und das Licht sind schön, du konntest dich nur nicht einscheiden Himmel oder Wasser, deshalb die Brücke in der Mitte?

Hello Kris,
They are quite similar but I prefer this one.
It looks sharper and I prefer the contrasts on this one.
The bridge is (of course) still very very impressive.
It deserved a second post!

Hi Kris,
yes, this a really impressive bridge. Not as frequently photographed as the Golden Gate, but not a bit less attractive. You've done well with the sunset and with your pov, taken from the Lake Huron side.
A shame that I missed this beautiful sight, but I did do some good shopping... ;-))

Kris,
Good to see you posting again. I know it must be busy with school, sport, and perhaps girls. It's important to balance your social life than spending too much time on the computer.
This one is beautiful, love the composition, I can't see how it can be better. Color is adequately saturated, the sky is dramatic with some clearing in the horizon, giving us ray of light, like hope, The city light and bridge well capture. Love the soft texture of the water and there still some details we can see on the foreground. Well done, and congrats.

Unos colores geniles y una perspectiva perfecta,
la profunidad del puente con esas luces hace increible esta foto,

what is really spectacular here is that red sunset is directly following the bridge and rest of picture is blue, i find it really funny

Hello Kris,

It is the amazing play of light that makes this one!
The pink remains of the setting sun in the horizon contrasts so well with the tone of the blue hour...
The bridge stands out nicely as half silhouette half artificially lit!
