Photographer’s Note

Some week a go I posted a photo of "the swedish dream". A summer house on the contryside of Sweden. Today I post a photo of the house in Tuscany that me and my family rented this summer on a hill. On one side there was wineyards and on the other ther was olive trees. Just the way someone from the north of europe expect it to be. The house from the end of the 19th century as newly renovated and we had over 180 sq m. Almost no neighbours! A great tuscany holiday.

What was the weekly rent? Was a car necessary to get around?
Looks like a fine house indeed. I like how it's surrounded by vegetation under the blue sky. You probably found the optimal composition for this place and you got the slightly difficult exposure just right.

I think I would like to ask the same questions as Gert does, this really looks like a dream! Quite different from "the Swedish dream"! This Italian place certainly looks inviting. Thanks for sharing.

I wonder if we have been to the same country ;) but you probably doesn't have my weird feeling for abandoned and ruff houses in strange mood during light conditions that not screaming postcard.
I like this house it invites me to a glass of red and a wonderful salsicca under the pinetree-

wow! this is really a dream house in a dream area :)
Very beautiful colours - such sunny colourful scene!
Excellent composition including all the beautiful things: the blue sky; beautiful green trees of various sizes, kinds and shades of colour; a lovely white house with a red door; light clouds... and a lot of sunshine :)
