The last nice days of october. A view from the old town towards the Kirchberg, overlooking the valley of the Alzette river. On the opposite slope a dubbel deck train is rumbling northwards.

Dag John,

De vorige bezoekers zijn precies benauwd om iets te schrijven.
Uw foto mag wel gezien worden, er steekt enorm veel diepte en perspectief, zeker door de keuze van de brug mee te nemen.
Heel mooi gedaan John, zeker door de zachte herfst kleuren dat er in vootkomen.
Samendtelling en presentatie zijn zeer aantrekkelijk. Bedankt.

You found a wonderfully high POV for this Bird's eye view over the town. The viaduct makes a good focal point and you timed it right to catch the rain. The hazy light fits the autumn mood.

I remember well this view John - even if it was partly raining when we was at the same place. Another well done presentation of Luxembourg also looking well in the fall dressing..

Bonjour John,

La ligne diagonale du viaduc est un atout à la composition. La prise de vue dirige notre regard vers les grattes-ciel en arrière-plan ce qui donne de la profondeur à la photo. Les arbres cadrent biens les différents édifices. La lumière fait ressortie les couleurs. Bonne journée.
