A photo taken this weekend above Chamonix with the view of the 4,000 metre peaks of the Aiguille Verte and the Grand Jorasses in the background.
This was the last day before the winter weather arrived. It's now snowing in the Alps.

This is a fine shot of this majestic place. The gorge between the peaks leads the eye into the shot nicely. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and detail.
