Red Lands of Morocco Photo

Photographer’s Note

Driving by narrows roads, we can see an open landscape side by side. Red, ocre colours with white calcarean rocks giving a perfect contrast. On the background a little forest of "cedres", the most common tree on this region.
Impossible to not stop the engine and walk a little by this strange lands, and try to keep this landscape in my mind...not sure to be safe of dementia...why not to take a photographie... ;-)

Veo que en esta ocasión te has decidido por un encuadre vertical con un enfoque amplio del suelo pedregoso terminando en el bosquecillo, me gusta lo sencillo de la imagen con un resultado bueno y efectivo.

Hi Javier,
This looks good in composition, mood and dark tones. Foreground with a large deep view to those trees and a small dark blue sky on top. And although i like the vignette on top, the bottom part you could have left out imo....but nevertheless a strong composed shot.

Hi Javier, I lik ehow you present these trees and the texture of the rocky ground where they grow, there must be a lot of fossils to collect there. Very nice landscape shot, the softly undulating landscape is really nice. I created a BW Workshop. Please allow me. Thanks for sharing, Alex

Superbe. Bonne utilisation du grand angle sur le premier plan.
Les couleurs sont un peu trop "grise" à mon gout.

Belle utilisation du grand angle. Le vignettage est sans doute attribuable au filtre polarisant!

Sympa comme vue, j aime bien le cadrage qui est signé grand angle et met bien en valeur ce sol caillouteux.
En revanche, je suis moins fan de cet effet de vignettage. Dans le ciel, ca va, mais en premier plan c est un peu dommage.

Un très bel angle pour aborder ce paysage caillouteux. De belles couleurs chaudes, aussi, d'un bel effet. Tu vois que la couleur n'est pas ton ennemie! ;-)

Salut Javier,
Voilà un moment que je n'étais pas venue visiter ta galerie. Il y a de bien belles choses.
J'adore cette photo qui me fait vraiment penser à l'Espagne (Andalousie ou Extremadure) ton format vertical est magnifique ainsi que ton POV avec ce grand premier plan structuré par les cailloux, ensuite viennent les douces courbes des collines et des ombres et le ciel qui s'étale comme un éventail grâce au grand angle. C'est superbe!
Un grand bravo!

Very good photo. I like wide angles. Great composition, nice colors, good perspective. I have to buy wide angle lens I think :)

Superb, wide angle used extremely well.
Great texture in the foreground, nice graduation through to the trees further back. Great colours, and wonderful composition. I really love the long shadows
