Photographer’s Note
These sparrows were sitting on a feeder in the garden. The image was captured as 'colour' but because of the bright background turned out much like a silhouette i.e. black & white

Hi james, this one is so lovely and so well conceptualised, planned and captured. I love the colourlkess look and the entire composition

The best thing about this picture is that you cannot ignore it. It draws you towards itself compulsively. Seeing this picture, I remembered a picture of mine also. I am posting it right now.

Hi James,
This is quite good work. This image displays for me how photography can be artistic. The art for me is the mystery and the degree to which the viewer must engage themselves to understand this image. In reality there are no birds here but simple jet black silhouettes interacting that our eyes recognize as "essences" of birds. We cannot tell their color or type (apart from reading your note) and only focus on their interaction and place within a vast blank space. Very graphic and well composed.
Cheers!
