Photographer’s Note

In April I flew to turkey in to prepare the boat for the EMYR (East Mediterranean Yacht Rally).

We joined the rally in Kekova (Turkey) and ended in Askalon (Israel), visiting Syria and Lebanon too.

About 80 boats participated, having 16 different nationalities.

Mid of July I was back home - heading few weeks later to Hungary being back home now for some days...

We left Syria (Lattakia) the day before and entered lebanese territorial waters in the early moning hours, heading for the marina in Jounieh.

No wind that night meant motoring, still having some swell.

Unfortunately sharpness was not like desired, but on a small boat even a VR lens showes limited results...

The fellow sailor passed perfectly between us and the coastline, giving those colors.

Hallo Knut,
lang nichts mehr von Dir gesehen. Schöne Stimmung und passender Augenblick mit dem Segel vor der Sonne, das Wasser reflektiert noch schwach das letzte Licht. Guter Aufbau der Anteile und der Position der Sonne.
Mir scheint, die Sensoren müssen mal wieder gereinigt werden?

Seems to be quite a voyage this season Knut. And you sure got yourself a top result in this setting out in the ocean. Who cares of top sharpness in a delightful setting as this. Really good one.
