Photographer’s Note
This is a HDR of the Berlin Central Station, the main railway station in Berlin, Germany and the largest crossing station in Europe. More information here.
Those skylights were really impressive and I thought I'd give it a try as a HDR. So I took 3 different exposures with my tripod and created this HDR using Photomatix with Details Enhancer as Tonemapping method. I cropped out a bit of the foreground to get a stronger focus on the building and the lights.

im sorry to say that the station itself takes only about a quarter of the frame whilst most of it is dark.....i think like this it looses power. I see from your note that you were impressed by the light beams but I think if you had cropped the picture and taken out more than half of the sky we would have still seen all the strength of the light beams and the whole image would have been more powerful!
Im not sure how to do workshops here but if I'll manage ill do one and just crop the top of the photo and try and show you.
Ciao
