To walk in the woods

As I prepare to take my walk
Up in the sky I hear the hawk
As he soars above the trees
I begin to rustle my feet in the leaves

The morning is breaking
And Nature is waking
The animals are beginning to feed
Natures beauty is full-filling the need
Deep within my heart
To just be with Nature, to be an important part

The breeze is cleaning out the air
It's blowing about in my hair
The birds are moving from tree to tree
Walking in the woods is so good for me

The chipmunks and squirrel are scurrying around
The creek is making it's beautiful sound
I find a rock to sit upon
I love this time the morning dawn

Come walk with me
And you will see
Just how beautiful a walk can be...
