Photographer’s Note
On an unseasonably warm mid-October evening, we stopped off briefly at Lake Lipno in south-western Czech Republic. The sun was just beginning to set and the holiday season was past, burger stalls unattended, helter-skelters empty, holiday cabins shut up for the winter.
The only other people there were a couple canoodling on a bench and a few lads fishing off a pier. It was a beautiful spot and very peaceful - a great introduction to this wonderful country.
