The statue in this artwork fotka belongs to Ilhan Koman, a famous Turkish sculptor. The statue is inspired by the electic turbine and stands in front of SantralIstanbul, the old power plant of Istanbul which today serves as a modern art museum.

bu açıdan kirpi şeklinde şirin bir gece lambasına benzemiş... ışıklı halini gördüğümü hatırlamıyorum hiç, gun ışığındaki halinden çok daha güzel görünüyor, hakikaten fotka olmuş, lol...

"electic" ne oluyor, elektriğin Lehçesi mi...

Vay vay ki ne vay ! Bu nesnenin gündüz halini biliyorum ama, gece vaziyeti daha muhteşemmiş. En azından etraftaki abur cubur gözükmüyor.
Kadraj mükemmel ama arka planda yer yer görülen maviler, kırmızılar daha baika güzel.
Bıktınız dinlemekten belki ama ; "grafik" etkisi dörtdörtlük bir kare.

Infinity miydi neydi adı bunun? Gördüklerim içinde heykelin en karizmatik fotoğrafı bu olmuş desem? Arkasındaki kırmızı mavi ışık dehşet... Heryerde metalik gri renkleriyle boy gösteren heykelin altınımsı parlaklığı ve yansıması ise bambaşka...

Ana renklerden bir yelpaze olmuş sanki.. Baktıkça bakasım geldi, masa üstüme koyabilir miyim izninle?

this is a lovely nocturne capture, even better considering the free hand made photo and the high iso. you did not neat the photo, don't you? a small critique, i would have preferred a wider view because of the lovely illumination in the background, but this is just a personal matter. with my best wishes, valentinos

ahh, good old santral. daha cok ekmegi yenir oranin. bu arada bana surekli mail yolluyorlar, super sergiler ve etkinlikler var. gece cekimi bu heykele daha cok yakismis. eski bir gemi kalintisini andiriyor. gunduzki "cool" hali yerine daha gizemli bir havasi var boyle.

It's sublime. The management of the light is great, the play with the curves and shadows of the structure is amazing, the colors are beautiful and the texture of the soil with the reflections, is excellent too. It looks like a paper artwork but what's the material?

Olá Deniz, I remember this artist from other previous posts (yours or krkt...) of his work. It's always exciting to see the thumbnails of your gallery...I picked this one because it reminded of your fish in the intro ;-) The reflection making it seem like a mouth wide open. It's incredible the diference with the daylight view that seems a completely diferent thing and place. Anyway, this is obviously a great shot as usual...such fine result with iso1600 and 1/6s handheld - If I could do this with my camera I would feel that I could do anything!

Deniz,
it is now almost 1 year since I was in Istanbul and yet I continue dreaming of the beauties of the place. The abstractness, strong colors and contrast as well as the masterful use of light and shadows and lights just opens my desire to come back and do this time a more comprehensive veiw of the entire city.
