Photographer’s Note

Another diferent one from me.
This little frog on its lotus flower was captured in a biological swimming pool of a Nature tourism called "Casa do Alto da Eira". It's located in Albergaria dos Fusos about 15km from Cuba, in Baixo Alentejo.
Not easy to capture these little fellows as they tend to jump into the water as soon as we get less than a meter from them.

For a general view of the place you can checkout the workshops - I'm sure most of you will prefer any of those wonderful sights.

WS1 - view towards the house with the pool and lotus flower in FG, taken very early in the morning.

WS2 - view of the pool and Alentejo landscape as seen from the house.

The house's renewal faithfully complied with the village's overall sketch, preserving the schist in the interior and the clay paving slabs as well, thus providing a natural climate well integrated in the surrounding space.

My vote would go to WS1 for the stunning reflections, but I can understand your desire to post the little frog as something different in your gallery. With the lily pad for scale we can see he really is tiny. Is that a tell-tale PP line round the leaf or the underside showing? It might have been worth carefully cloning round the edge, although a bit laborious. The sharpness and focus on the frog is good.

Oh, the wonderful frogs! Ricardo, you know, of course... when a sad lady meets a frog (of course a male-frog) she has just to kiss him on his nose. And then, immediately, the frog becomes a beautiful, charming prince. And he will marry her, with a lot of love, forever! Oh... why I don't meet frogs, here? Ehi...so a nice pic, with great colors. One with the impression that this charming frog will jump on your camera. Indeed image which is original in your gallery… I like much your photo WS1 which could have been the subject of a publication, the reflection is superb and the very pleasant soft light. Bem apanhado, o bichano.
OS WS também estão bonitos e ajudam a conhecer o lugar. É curiosa essa piscina/tanque/lago.
Essa terra, Albergaria dos Fusos, é daquelas boas para uma série de povoações com nomes esquisitos ou curiosos.

Bela macro deste sapo quando vi os ws da para entender o tamanho da escala ele e bem pequeno como a folha de plátano , gostei muito dos detalhes e da lua a iluminar a pele dele , o ws 1 está fantástico e um belo reflexo , parabéns!!

The little fellow does watch you, possibly he does not trust you or he thinks that you could catch his food!!! A very nice composition with the frog out of the center, sitting on a leaf and then behind the dark water. Well done
