Photographer’s Note

Sydney harbour has been described as one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. A natural drowned river valley that was formed 6,000 years ago, it provides safe harbour even during the most vicious ocean storm. The famous harbour bridge has been photographed perhaps millions of times, but I never tire looking at it whenever I go to Sydney. In this shot I though the various ferry designs seen here together provided an insight to how people travel on this wondrous stretch of water.
