The panda known as 'da xiongmao' the big bear cat by the Chinese is an endangered species. It lives on a diet of bamboo. The Chinese government along with the WWF for Nature have a study programme and successful breeding programme for panda's.
No trip to China is complete without seeing these fabulous creatures. They are very lazy, spending their time eating and sleeping. They are also very dangerous, their cute look is very deceiving!
