Great timing Caleb - and I love the penetrating eye contact too. Warm natural colours and a nice light.
Beautifully done, Roberto

One of the best examples of "frozen moment" i've seen. Even the beads still have the round shape of the sieve. Variations of basic colors come again together to make a beautiful color photo. The warm smile of the lady is a bonus.

Hello Caleb,
Wonderful moment, when I looked at the thumbnail I thought it may be a painting. Superb catch, the grain frozen in time has perfect shape, and the expression on her face, priceless. There is so much to take-in, the colours, the light, the definition and the superb composition.
I wonder how many times she has repeated this process, just marvelous to watch her.
Regards
Peter

This one has that soft smooth feel and colour of the 5D in bucket loads - to my eye quite distinctive - I like the informality and sense of the moment which comes across - as if she had just noticed you - and this is emphasised by the inclusion of the doorway(?) on the right - as others have said the capture of the rice is nicely done - the more I look at the image the fore - mid - background configuration and the colour range work so well together - and then her look - Ok I can see another more candid picture of her concentrating on her job but this is also such a lovely situational portrait.
best wishes Kev

Hi Caleb, Nice shot, with the waoman filling the frame nicely and the movement of the grain caught well. Slight motion blur in some of the grains but still possible to see individual grains. colour and sharpness good, as usual. cheers, Steve

Hi Caleb. I am beginning to sound the same, but since I admire your work for its freshness, light, colour, details and the openness of your subjects, there is not much else that i can add, except that I often wonder why your work is not acclaimed for its humanity, its spontaneity, and is not getting even close to the ridiculous acclaim of those who offer the predictable landscapes with over saturated skies and rooftops.Regards. Klaudio.

hello Caleb
wonderful photo!I love how you have framed the scene, with the woman in red standing out the green wall, with nice elements around her like the basket and the wooden doors! But what is really atonishing here,is the perfect timing giving this effect to the rice!Superb,I like very much!

Hi Caleb
In a way, it's a classic shot, but not everybody can catch it the way you do, with a good eye contact with your spontaneous model and the sharp dance of the rice seeds on the sieve. I like very much the colors, and the light.
Best regards,

Hello Caleb.
This is a very well timed portrait/daily life shot, with your exposure values providing a very satisfying and slightly blurred view of the rice (or whatever it is) in the air - perfect! Very nice colours and good sharpness, plus the delight of the lady looking straight at the camera. Perhaps the contrast could be increased just a little. But it's a very good capture, consistent in quality with all your other portraits.
Regards,
Andrew
