Neos Marmaras (Greek: Νέος Μαρμαράς) is a seaside village in Sithonia on the Halkidiki peninsula. It is located at a 125 kilometers distance from Thessaloniki. The village was built amphitheatrically on a top of three hills which belong to the mountain Ntragoudeli, or Itamos, the most mountainous area of Sithonia with a height of 811m.

The village was founded in 1922 by Greek refugees originating from the island of Marmaras in the Proponidthas region of Asia Minor. Nowadays the village is home to about 3,000 permanent residents whose primary occupations are fishing, agriculture (vineyards, olives, etc.), beekeeping, hunting and, of course, tourism. Neos Marmaras is without a doubt a very picturesque place. But the beauty of the area comes at a price. The area is very crowded in the summer season.

The small island in the background is called Keliphos. It is uninhabited. Kassandra, the first leg of the Halkidiki peninsula, can be seen in the distance.
