Old Fishing Boats Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hello!
Today third photo from Howth Port set. You can see here the old fishing boats and oil/petrol patches on the water.
From Wikipedia:
Howth (pronounced to rhyme with both; Irish: Binn Éadair (in Irish) is a town in the Fingal County Council administrative area of County Dublin, Ireland. Originally just a small fishing village and surrounding rural district, Howth is now a busy suburb of Dublin, with a mix of dense residential development and wild hillside.

For me personally is the best place to "charge my batteries". I love to walk in Howth Port and of course on fantastic Howth Cliffs!

Czesc Chris,
fajna kompozycja, glebokie kolory, super ostrosc. Podoba mi sie powirzchnia wody - miejscami pomarszczona, w innych czesciach gladka, odbiajjaca dzioby lodzi. Obrosnieta wodoraostami cuma dodaje klimatu.
Milo sie na to patrzy.

Witam Chris,

nice chromatic composition with a nice contrast between the lead-coloured sea and the vivid colours of the boats. I also like the richness in details...like the oil film on the water surface!

Chris, you have a certain style, and to be honest I am a bit 'green with envy', because my portfolio is quite eclectic related to yours.

Your bit overtuned colours are fantastic and make your shots unambiguously 'ilDottoresque', I love them.

And you have good eyes catching amazing compositions. Thank you for sharing these images, this battery-changing one also.

Dzisiaj tec ciekawie i tez fajnie. Fajnie to znaczy sie co do kompozycji. Bo juz o tychg zanieczyszczeniach nie mowie. Dobre kolory. Zdjecie mozna powiedziec pro ekologiczne.

Widze ze masz swietny patent i dobre oko na przemyslowa ze tak powiem czesc przystani. Ja ile razy bym tam nie byl, zawsze brakuje mi pomyslu na ciekawy kadr. Tobie sie to jakos udaje;) Super fotka. I juz po sloneczku na dzis mysle, ale za to malownicze chmurki na niebie...trzeba to wykorzystac.

malownicze lodzie i woda ktorej stan czystosci pozostawia wiele do zyczenia, no ale artystycznie wyglada ;) dobrze, ze lodzi pokazales skrawki, bo tyle sie na nich dzieje ze byloby za duzo tresci

Hi Signor Dottore,
It's curious how the pollution on the water makes part of the charm of this achieved photo. It would still beautiful without of course, but that diffuse pattern of blues and yellows is almost as interesting as the shapes and saturated colours of the boats and the texture of the water on the BG.
I like it very much.

Blue boats are very attractive with their splendid contrast with orange stripes even on black boat. Oil smeared water surface, dazzling reflections, mossy rope perfectly captured. Excellent touch artistically too, congratulations.

A very nice combination of color with the bows and rear of these three fishing boats, with good reflections in the dark water of the harbour. A mentionned in your note, the petrol over the water also makes a nice bluish effect.
