Wampus Brook Park in Armonk New York.

Armonk is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the town of North Castle in Westchester County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the CDP population was 3,461.

Armonk is home to the global headquarters of information technology company IBM and bond insurer MBIA, and the Americas headquarters of reinsurer Swiss Re.

The North Castle Public Library is located in Armonk and is a member of the Westchester Library System.

Smith's Tavern, a local historical site and landmark of the Revolutionary War, is also located in Armonk. Today, it is the home of the North Castle Historical Society.

Armonk is also unique in that there are no national chain stores within the town itself. With the exception of the two gas stations, a supermarket, and three banks, all of the businesses are locally owned and operated.

Autumnal colors finally arrived in the state of New York! The vivid red tree on the left makes a n amazing natural framing. The little bridge is cute. Very good presentation. Well done!

Looks like everyone is got a beautiful autumn color images except me, So Cal don't get much of a seasons change, though we do have some tree that turns color but not in group or forest. This one is beautiful, the bridge add so much to the composition and inviting. Lovely color and light very natural and beautiful atmosphere. Well observed and presented. thanks Angela

Beautiful autumn colors and stillness .. nice sense of dimension .. I really like the amount of dark and contrast in this scene .. love the way this recedes around the bend. very nice.

Angela, I am partial to blue sky but this shot is otherwise excellent. I may have offered this suggestion before but I think a circular polarizer would increase contrast and saturation and give you bluer skies. Ok, enough said, the composition on this is nice and the bridge and the asymmetry of the shot is very good. Fine capture.

Hi Angela,
Beautiful! Wonderul! It's like a lovely painting... The tranquil mood and the colours are just so compelling...
There are only two things that could be better: the burnt out sky and a less centred PoV would be more pleasing to the eye graphically and I maybe it would imply having more of that red foliage on the left.

HEllo Angela, this is a very difficult shot to take because of the strong shadows and highlights. You see at the sshot that the sky is washdout. Still i like the end result with the lovely reds and greens and the waterreflexion.
