Photographer’s Note

The convent was founded by the Franciscan Capuchins.
The church,longitudinal in plan,Mannerist and Baroque in architecture and comprising porch,nave,chancel whith semi-circular vault,was constructed in the 17th century and rebuild in the 19th.
Of distinction,in the transit chapel of S. Francis,are the polycrome Baroque sculptures made of baked clay,representing the death of St. Francis.
