Photographer’s Note
At the airport in Zurich is an art piece made up of a giant screen. The screen is entirely opaque until someone passes by on the other side, and then that person becomes illuminated for only an instant.
I think the way it worked was that the screen had holes, almost the equivalent of a giant pile of straws stacked horizontally on top of each other...
Anyway, I took this shot as a person (male or female?) was walking behind the screen. Behind him is a large window looking out onto the tarmac and green landscape.
I cropped this picture, as most of the image was of the opaque straws. I'll post the original as a workshop.

Very interesting screen you have here! Don’t know why is not rated yet but it deserves points for sure! :)

This is a neat piece. You did a nice job getting the feel that you explain what it is. I like the little "hole" that appears for us to look through. It slowly becomes more clear and then we get this image through. Like a view onto the lives of others but just for a moment as they slip by and back into the mass. It sort of individualizes everyone and this shot makes one think what is this person up to. What are they thinking? Where are they going? But it's too late because they are already slipping out of view. Thanks for sharing this interesting piece.

Lovely picture Anna, i love the idea of the 'straw effect' it makes for an excellent artistic shot.
Good note also, well spotted!
