Photographer’s Note

I took this shot in Vourvourou (Greek: Βουρβουρού) at Karidi Beach, which is without a doubt one of my favorite places in Sithonia. Vourvourou is located at a 120 kilometers distance from Thessaloniki on the eastern coast of the Sithonia peninsula. Vourvourou and particularly Karidi Beach are known for their exceptional natural beauty, small rocky islands, pine tree forests and the aquamarine sea. Since Karidi Beach is a relatively small beach it can become very crowded in July and August. But the beauty of the area makes it all worthwhile and rewards you with great photo opportunities.

Hi Natasha,
this is a very beautiful work, full of life thanks to the bright and vibrant colours. You've composed the shot very well with the vegetation in the fg adding depth to the stunning view; also the contrast between green and blue is very nice to look at. I like it.

Greece has some beautiful blue waters as proven here in this capture. The tree is very well positioned to give the image depth while the shoreline to the left is impressive. You produced very natural and sublime colours here and you managed well with the bright sunlight. Excellent presentation.

Various colors of the sea is really beautiful, Green leaves in the foreground make the sea stand out more. The radius of usm on the leaves seems to be larger a little, though it may be my mistake. However this is a very pleasant shot. I like this a lot.

Un color magnífico. Has escogido un día de los más transparentes, la atmósfera es cristalina, y la nitidez del horizonte enorme. Se puede ver unas montañas que deben estar muy lejos.
Una foto muy hermosa, y llena de movimiento y vida: el viento hace su papel

it's just so Mediterranean, the colors, the scrub and the pine succesful with a good comp, and a foreground where you almost could smell the thyme.

On dirait la Corse, la mer bleu, le maquis.. Ici aussi cela donne envie de se baigner..
Pas évident de prendre ces arbustes en photos, souvent trop sombres, ici c'est parfait.
