Wild Parrots at Cradle Mountain, Morning Photo

Photographer’s Note

I took this picture at Dove Lake, near Cradle Mountain, on my early morning walk (the same walk that produced the fog pictures.) To someone from my area, seeing wild parrots is a real treat, so I snapped a bunch of photos, but these jittery creatures did not hold still for very long. I really loved this picture because the colors of the parrots had a chance to stand out against the uniform bush. The photo has been substantially cropped, and I may post the other as an alternative or workshop for comparison.
