this is the walkway of Shinagawa Station to the office complex. the right side is the ticket wicket, left is office complex. everybody walk to left.

it is interesting and strange view.

i was taken this pic from Starbucks Coffee.
that is good place. you can enjoy the coffee and this view ;)

at 1:38 is the Starbucks Coffee.

I think that 1/30 - 1/10sec is the good for the emphasis of pedestrian's movement.

Very very good photo of Tokyo frenzy.
I am trying to browse right now the pics that were uploaded in Trekearth today, most of them quite poor photographically.. this one stands out easily of the whole crop. Imaginative, and very well done. Congrats to you Yuo.

Hi Yuo,

absolutely fantastic photo! I love the rush manifestated thtough people in motion, all hurriing most probably to work, not even one being still... It somehow summerizes life nowdays...we are all rushing somewhere, we do not even take time to stop and ask ourselves: where are we rushing to? Excellent!

an almost scary one...like crazy ghots all in the same direction. Very creative shot, with great visual impact. I don't think I'd move from that Starbucks café :))). For me also a relevant reflection on the problems of our times...My compliments for this unusual work!

Hello Yuo,

I find this photo very interesting and original. We can still guess the people and the blur is enough to provide a strange effect and the idea of movement. You have found the right time exposure to capture this effect.
Moreover the remaining of the frame is filled by lines which are building the space: mainly the yellow lines on the floor and the lightned signs on the walls.
To my mind, a very good photo.
