Continuing on the pet theme....

Just another shot of the cat fast ferry from Strömstad to Koster. The typical Swedish life guard set of a rack holding a ladder and a life bouy with its little plastic container with a rope is casting a shadow on the cat´s hull.

As I had the tail yesterday let´s call this an eye.

Now I understand, Ebbe, what you mean by 'cat'. It didn't dawn to me, this short form of catamaran, till now. Yesterday I thought it was the name of a certain hawser depicted in your image. Ha, I'm a landlubber! In this one I think you are a bit too abstract or maybe not enough. I probably would have preferred a leveled surface for the shadow to fall on. Here I get a bit confused by the different levels and lines with no real harmony. But it's red and it's a nice try - well done!

Well seen and captured Ebbe. I like shadows like these, as you have seen in my gallery. It is simple and strong.

The round, straight and curved lines are well balanced and the difference between the sharp shadows from the welding seams and the soft shadows from the life bouy is a fine detail that adds interest. Strong red colour and the clear presentation of the material character of heavy painted steel plate makes a captivating image, well spotted.
