Photographer’s Note
One of the backcountry highlights of Zion National park is "The Subway", a very narrow and dark rock tube, which was formed by the North Creek. Inside you can find some beautiful holes in the river bed, filled with crystal clear, emerald green water.
You need a backcountry permit from the NPS to visit this amazing piece of nature. The pretty strenuous trail follows the North Creek and consist mainly of rock hopping and wading along and in the river bed.

Hi Karsten
When is was to Zion on june, i didn't go to north part of park even if i know it's beautiful. I'm happy you go there and take picture. Your choice of down pov is excellent with water on those little pool, and long time expo give a better effect. I did somes similar on the narrows but not already posted.
Have a good day
