Olive Tree with a View Photo

Photographer’s Note

This olive tree enjoys the view from the ancient castle over the beautiful bay of Toroni all year round. Toroni (Greek: Τορώνη) is a small seaside village in Halkidiki. It is located about 20 km south of Neos Marmaras at a 130 km distance from Thessaloniki. Toroni's beach is one of the most beautiful places in Halkidiki. The village was named after the wife of Proteus, the son of Poseidon. The rich history of the area can still be seen today as the remains of several ancient temples and castles can be visited.

This is an wonderful seascape shot! The sky is fantastic the olives tree in the foreground is beautiful. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF.

es ist erstaunlich, Olivenbäume direkt am Strand zu finden. Dieses Foto ist sehr gut gelungen. Die Bäume, der Schatten, das Meer eine sehr gut gelungene Aufnahme. Gratuliere.
