Hi Stephane,

Very interesting composition. I do notice lots of blue in this image but I like it that way. The rocks on the foreground give us a better perspective of the place where you shot this image and the glacier look huge! Good work!

This is a very good shot ofnature power. I like the composition and your note too, although, I think that if the picture would have been brighter, it would be better.

Bonjour Stephane,

L avant plan est un poil trop sombre, mais pour le reste, une belle ambiance: les reflets bleutés du glacier sont bien capturés, tout comme l ecrin de nuages. On s y croirait.
Vous etes montés au sommet du Hattfell? La vue etait superbe, mais l accés un peu delicat.

Tu as us trouver des couleurs superbes sur cette photo, c'est étonnamment différent des photos de sommets enneigés qu'on a l'habitude de voir.

Very impressive indeed. Fantastic the contrast bettween FG & BG, like two giants facing each other, measuring each other strenghs. In a first impression it seems like two pieces of puzzle that fit together. Love it.

Ta dernière photo de New York était très réussie mais celle ci la surpasse encore davantage.
Ce glacier est impressionnant, sa puissance est absolue : il apparait "enflé" sur ta photo, comme "gonflé de l'intérieur".Il est d'un bleu glacial qui n'est pas une invitation et puis le simple fait que son sommet soit dans les nuages démontrent l'immensité du lieu. Ce spectacle a dû être époustouflant !Il semble aussi plein de cicatrices. le point de vue est saisissant comme si nous découvriions ce spectacle avec toi, sur le bord du monde.
Le premier plan en terre parait très "terrien" tant le glacier apparait en arrière plan comme irréel et inatteignable.
C'est une super photo pour un spectacle exceptionnel.

impirssionnant en effet, il inspire le respect. Une très bonne compo compte tenu des lumières si difficiles. J'aime bien l'inclusion de l'avant plan et ses contrastes.
Beaucoup de mystère ici pour ces terres de légendes.

I think one of the most exotic and wonderful Islands in this world is Iceland I would love to visit this place and rent a carr and visit it all, is an amzing place full with life, amazing places is like to be in another world I think is beautiful.
I like so mcuh this capture I like the volcano and the with of the snow mixing with the clouds. The most impresice is the capture of the glow of the ligth and the ontrast with the earth and the rocks.

Impressive glacier of Iceland, with such unique color tone of the cool temperature zone, even in summer. The misty clouds and ice is bluish!

Titre bien choisi, l'impression de puissance est évidente et bien rendue par ta photo. Beau contraste entre l'avant-plan plus dans l'ombre et le glacier davantage éclairé avec un blanc qui ressort bien.

it is a power shot on this one. the wind blows up snow and 1/500 caught it! i don't know how close u are to the glacier, it is good to see it closely. it is too sad now because the globe warming makes glacier melting more, but it is good to see this power shot!

C'est effectivement très impressionnant! L'énormité du glacier est renforcée par ce mélange entre son sommet et le ciel, on ne sait pas où il s'arrête et si il s'arrête!
J'aime beaucoup aussi ton premier plan avec cet amoncellement de pierres brunes et l'immense ravin que l'on devine derrière.
Un extraordinaire paysage sauvage!

J'imagine la puissance du vide qu'il doit y avoir au-delà des rochers du premier plan. Paysage vraiment étonnant et une traitement de l'image qui ne l'est pas moins renforçant ce sentiment de puissance. Impressionnant effectivement. J'aime bien le WS de Didi qui donne en plus un effet 3D appréciable. Merci Stéphane.

Hello Stéphane! Some days "off TE" ... amazing what work came out of your production line in just some days and hard for me to choose where to begin but I can always return. I love the layers in this one with the brown stone in the foreground, and huge and impressive the glacier as the main object with some cloud bank "finalizing" your composition. Fascinating how you approach the landscape and with just some words you make the thing work in both directions. Excellent ... I really find this fantastic. Barbara.

So many have already critiqued this photo, but I have to say this one caught my eye. It's gorgeous. The glacier in this photo is like nothing I have ever seen. Very well captured. The colors are wonderful as well. I agree with some that the foreground could be brighter with more detail but otherwise, an exceptional picture. Thank you!

for power and silent may be i've to go there for proof.

i stop to visit your gallery after not in TE for a while.
just know not good news but respect your decision.
