The great glacier tongue of Skafatfellsjökull is the east border of Skaftafell. it is a part of the greater glacier Vatnajökull, the largest glacier of Europe, and third of the world.

L'endroit est impressionnant, autant plus avec la présence de l'homme qui fait accentuer la grandeur. J'aime beaucoup la texture du glacier et la faible nettété au fond pour contraster. Comme le premier plan pourrait être plus net, je me demande si tu la renforce après le redimensionnement pour TE car c'est ce qu'il faut faire. J'aurais juste gommé le rocher? à droit pour laisser que le brun.

superbe image tant sur la grandeur des lieux que de la restitution que tu nous en fais !
la presence humaine dans ce style de compos est quelque chose que j'aime beaucoup et utilise à outrance. elle donne une autre dimension à l'image. au niveau de la colorimétrie, peut-être reduire les jaunes au profit des bleus (un peu trop vert !!)
encore bravo pour cette superbe ambiance

Waou !!! Pour l'image, et doublement pour avoir restitué l'orthographe barbare du lieu !!! La compo est bien menée, comme Alain j'aime beaucoup ton "personnage" qui donne idée de la grandeur du site, ajoute un petit côté "aventure" à la photo. Merci de nous faire partager ta route ! ;) Sublime...

Encore un endroit époustouflant ! Ombres et lumières , composition, avec les plans successifs aussi beau les uns que les autres : tout est parfait . Et la présence de l'homme sur le promontoire est très bien vue .

Grandiose spectacle que nous partageons avec le personnage sur l'image. Grande PDC malgré un plafond bas. La structure glaciaire est impressionnante.

Great view and lighting is really cool with the shadows of the clouds on the far hill and the glacier. The man standing there admiring the view is nice touch. I always like seeing hikers in landscape photos.

Le nom a l'air salement imprononcable mais le paysage rattrape bien le coup, c'est grand, c'est beau, c'est une belle image et on envie ce randonneur solitaire fort bien place dans le cadre.

You have an impressive series from Iceland Mickael - where this one for sure is a very good example. Top capture of the landscape and the clacier and with a superb inclusion of the person on the cliff there - good for scaling and sure an important detail for the final result.

Excellent capture here Mickael. The light is impressive as well as the subject of course: the big glacier is stunning and the inclusion of the man standing on the rock gives us an idea of the proportions.

Hello Mickaël,

I like this scene, so typical Iceland with hardly no vegetation of size in the harsh landscape!
A balanced composition with good details, and the colours seem to be well reproduced...
My only objection is the frame, it is nice but possibly taking some attention from the image..?
